Here are our PS Plus Extra and Premium games for January

Sony has lifted the lid on its PS Plus Premium and Extra game offerings for January.

A number of games coming to the service such as Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Resident Evil Village leaked earlier today, however there are also a couple of unexpected titles also joining the official lineup from Sony.

The following games will be available for Premium and Extra PS Plus members from 20th January:

  • Resident Evil Village | PS5, PS4
  • Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth | PS5, PS4
  • Expeditions: A MudRunner Game | PS5, PS4
  • A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead | PS5
  • Darkest Dungeon 2 | PS5, PS4
  • The Exit 8 | PS5, PS4
  • Art of Rally | PS5, PS4
  • A Little to the Left | PS5, PS4

I am personally quite curious about The Exit 8, and given my new year’s resolution (at least in terms of video games) is to make sure I get my money’s worth from my various subscriptions, I am going to give this one a bash. If you haven’t heard of it before, it’s a walking simulator inspired by Japanese underground passageways. Now, I admit that doesn’t sound great at first, but here’s the thing: you are trapped in this seemingly endless passageway, and have to pay careful attention to your surroundings in order to find your way out.

Another one I am tempted to try is A Little to the Left, which I missed when it originally released back in 2022. It’s a cosy puzzle game which sees you organise household items. While I gather it doesn’t leave quite the same impression as Unpacking, I am more than happy to play something cosy while it is still ruddy freezing outside.

Has anything taken your fancy from this batch of games? For more on the service, be sure to check out our guide to PS Plus and all the available games.
