Will a corporate homebuying ban help address affordability crisis?


President Trump targeted nearly every corner of the market in his latest barrage of policy proposals; most notably, it includes the possibility of the administration banning institutional investors from buying single-family homes.

Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) senior fellow Rebecca Patterson joins Josh Lipton for a conversation on whether this policy would help address the affordability crisis growing in the US. Patterson was also the chief investment strategist for Bridgewater Associates and is currently active as the chair for the Council for Economic Education.
