Amazon Prime free PC games for January 2026 announced

To kick off 2026, Amazon Prime members will be able to download 10 more free games starting this month. Over a dozen separate games will be able to stream via Luna cloud delivery as well.

The downloadable games come via redeemable codes from various PC gaming storefronts, like the Epic Games Store and GOG, meaning you’ll still own and have access to them even if your Amazon Prime subscription comes to an end. Those free games are headlined by Sid Meier’s Civilization 6, the 2016 strategy game. It was positively received when it was released, with Polygon’s review calling Civilization 6 “an advance on the previous game, offering more variety, smarter use of assets and a wider palette of potential activities. It remains the best of its kind, always demanding my attention, forever creating new narratives out of stats and maps.”

Civilization 6 is available to download now via an Epic Games Store code. Here’s everything being made available to download throughout January:

  • Sid Meier’s Civilization 6 (Epic Games Store) — available now
  • Reflections of Life: Dark Architect Collector’s Edition (Amazon Games App) — available now
  • Brigador: Up-Armored Edition (GOG) — Jan. 15
  • Gunslug: Rogue Tactics (GOG) — Jan. 15
  • DeathKeep (GOG) — Jan. 15
  • Harold Halibut (GOG) — Jan. 22
  • D&D Stronghold: Kingdom Simulator (GOG) — Jan. 22
  • Al-Qadim: The Genie’s Curse (GOG) — Jan. 29
  • Technotopia (Amazon Games App) — Jan. 29
  • Elderborn (GOG) — Jan. 29

In addition to the downloadable games, Amazon Prime members will be able to stream additional games for free. Madden NFL 26 is the most notable entry from that grouping, though it’ll only be available to stream from Jan. 10 to Feb. 10, meaning you’ll have just a month to take your favorite franchise to the promised land and bring home a Super Bowl title. (Unless your favorite franchise is the Cleveland Browns. If that’s the case… godspeed.)

Non-football fans will have plenty to enjoy as well. Alan Wake, Death Stranding Director’s Cut, and more will be available to stream via the cloud. Here’s everything newly available to stream in January:

  • Alan Wake — available now
  • Death Stranding Director’s Cut — available now
  • Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 – Turbocharged — available now
  • Monster Truck Championship – Rebel Hunter Edition — available now
  • Tormented Souls — available now
  • Aragami: Shadow Edition — available now
  • Spells & Secrets — available now
  • Whisker Waters — available now
  • Trepang2 — available now
  • Tricky Towers — Jan. 8
  • Madden NFL 26 — Jan. 10
  • The Jackbox Party Pack 3 — Jan. 23
  • Worms WMD — coming soon

Amazon Prime members can head to Amazon Luna to start claiming and playing the free games. Last month’s additions, like Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, are also still available.
