Venezuela op was a measured response to Maduro’s criminal enterprise


That distinction has sharpened following remarks by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who stated that the United States will not tolerate Venezuela becoming an operating hub for hostile powers such as Iran, Russia, China, Hezbollah or Cuban intelligence services. This is not theoretical. Venezuela holds the world’s largest proven oil reserves. Allowing those assets to fall under adversarial influence poses a direct security risk.
