New Democrats wish Canadians a Merry Christmas! « Canada’s NDP

NDP Leader Don Davies issued the following statement:

“Christmas is an opportunity for Canadians to come together with family and celebrate the birth of Christ. It is a time filled with the spirit of love, giving and hope.

The holidays are also a time for people to reflect on the messages of the Christian faith. Ideals such as peace, understanding and generosity are so important as we face an unstable world with division and strife.

During this Christmas season, I encourage all Canadians to find what connects us and show kindness to our neighbours. Sharing love and goodwill creates strong and happy communities, and a better world for all.

From myself, my family, and all New Democrats, I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and happy Holiday Season.”
