Hey, just wanted to boost the campaign to get warming centres in so-called “Ottawa” – we currently do not have any, and the city councilors are insisting that people should go to the mall during the day to keep warm and shelters at night (shelter capacity is less than half of the homeless population in the city, and is also just a relentlessly carceral system to interface with).

People die sleeping outside every single year in this city, but city councilors still aren’t getting it. There are calls to action in the linktree and updates on what we’ve been doing.
