Zoe Saldaña continued her “Avatar: Fire and Ash” press run in Miami with one of Chanel’s most detailed spring 2026 gowns, appearing at a special screening at Sunset 24 on Friday.
The gown featured a deep V-neckline framed in dense 3D florals in yellow, red, white and black. The bodice followed the line of the torso before breaking into a full mermaid skirt. Small floral sprays and beaded motifs scattered across the pale base, with larger clusters placed at the hip and lower skirt. Tassel-like pom-pom appliqués in red, black and yellow lined the flared panels and dropped slightly past the hem.

The base fabric carried a slight sheen and stayed fitted above the knee, then widened into a fuller sweep through the lower skirt. Saldaña finished the look with slim black sandals, floral earrings and stacked rings. Her hair sat in a tight updo, keeping the neckline and shoulder detailing in clear view.
Saldaña’s gown came straight from look 74 of Chanel’s spring 2026 collection by Matthieu Blazy. On the runway, WWD’s Joelle Diderich noted that the designer offered “a complex, layered interpretation” of the house codes, using texture and embroidery to rework familiar Chanel signatures. The dimensional florals on Saldaña’s dress tracked with that brief, turning the label’s decorative handwork into the main structure of the gown.

The Miami screening added a new note to the actress’s “Avatar: Fire and Ash” wardrobe. Earlier this month in Paris, she wore a black Balmain dress with an angular, beaded bodice and pointed peplum over a column skirt. Days later in China, she opted for an ivory lace Erdem gown paired with Saint Laurent Chandelle sandals in nude satin. Together, the appearances chart a run of statement eveningwear that moves between sharp structure and high-texture surfaces.
“Avatar: Fire and Ash” is scheduled to reach theaters on Dec. 19, continuing the story of Jake, Neytiri and their family as they face the Ash People and renewed conflict on Pandora.
