JetBlue is opening its first-ever airport lounge called BlueHouse at New York’s John F Kennedy Airport (JFK) Terminal 5. The lounge will officially open at 5am ET on December 18, 2025, offering a more premium pre-flight experience. BlueHouse is designed to feel like a home-style environment for JetBlue’s most loyal customers and premium travelers. The move marks a major step in JetBlue’s strategy to enhance airport hospitality and customer satisfaction.

This lounge launch is part of JetBlue’s broader JetForward premium travel strategy, which aims to expand benefits beyond the aircraft to the airport experience. The 9,000-square-foot BlueHouse blends local New York City design and art with functional spaces for work, relaxation, and socializing. It also integrates into Terminal 5’s ongoing refresh, which features new dining and retail options. Access will be complimentary for select loyalty and premium customers, with broader access options rolling out early next year.

BlueHouse spans 9,000 square feet across two levels and is crafted with an NYC apartment aesthetic, including Art Deco design elements and curated local art. Travelers will find a range of zones for working, socializing, and relaxing before flights, with high-speed Wi-Fi and ample power outlets throughout. Food and beverage offerings are locally inspired, featuring grab-and-go bites from Union Square Events and drinks from partners like Joe Coffee and NYC craft beverage providers. The lounge also includes amenities such as a game room and photo booth for a more engaging pre-flight experience.

Access to BlueHouse is complimentary for TrueBlue Mosaic 4 members, JetBlue Premier Cardmembers, and transatlantic Mint passengers, with one guest allowed and additional guests available for a fee. Starting in February 2026, limited access passes will be available for other loyalty members and cardholders, increasing who can use the lounge. This premium benefit enhances loyalty value and aligns with the airline’s effort to compete with other carriers’ lounge offerings. BlueHouse’s opening also precedes broader network refreshes and upcoming product upgrades, such as JetBlue’s planned domestic first-class cabin.
