Pokémon Go December 2025 Community Day event guide


Pokémon Go‘s big December Community Day (or Community Weekend) event is taking place on Dec. 6 and 7 this year, with most perks running from 2-5 p.m. in your local time.

As per usual with these events, each day will specifically boost the spawns of half of the Pokémon during the event period. Outside of those hours, any of the Community Day Pokémon from this year can show up. It’s a great time to catch up on any Community Days you may have missed throughout the year, as their shiny rate will be increased for this event.

Notably, one of the big changes for this year is that there will not be 2024 Community Day Pokémon in eggs. This year will only focus on Community Day Pokémon from 2025.

Below you can see the Pokémon Go December Community Day schedule, so you know what spawns will show up.


The following Pokémon will be focused spawns from 2-5 p.m. in your local time on Saturday, Dec. 6:

These Pokémon will spawn more often on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 2-5 p.m. in your local time:

If you evolve any of these Pokémon starting at Dec. 6 at 9 a.m. until Dec. 7 at 9 p.m., they’ll get their respective legacy move:

  • Eevee → Vaporeon: Scald
  • Eevee → Jolteon: Zap Cannon
  • Eevee → Flareon: Superpower
  • Eevee → Espeon: Shadow Ball
  • Eevee → Umbreon: Psychic
  • Eevee → Leafeon: Bullet Seed
  • Eevee → Glaceon: Water Pulse
  • Eevee → Sylveon: Psyshock
  • Croconaw → Feraligatr: Hydro Cannon
  • Kirlia → Gardevoir or Gallade: Synchronoise
  • Duosion → Reuniclus: Charm
  • Vanillish → Vanilluxe: Avalanche
  • Karrablast → Escavalier: Razor Shell
  • Shelmet → Accelgor: Energy Ball
  • Floette → Florges: Chilling Water

The following bonuses will be active during the Community Day event period:

  • Doubled Stardust for catching Pokémon
  • Doubled XP for catching Pokémon
  • Halved hatch distance for eggs placed into Incubators during the event
  • Doubled candy for catching Pokémon
  • Doubled chance for level 31+ trainers to get XL candy from catching Pokémon
  • Incense lasts three hours
  • Lure Modules last one hour
  • Special photobombs when taking snapshots
  • One additional special trade
  • Stardust cost halved for trading

As usual, the trade bonuses will last a bit longer, running from Dec. 6 at 9 a.m. until Dec. 7 at 9 p.m.

The following Pokémon will also have their evolution requirements lowered during the weekend:

  • Eevee → Espeon: Explore 1 km with Eevee as your buddy (down from 10 km)
  • Eevee → Umbreon: Explore 1 km with Eevee as your buddy (down from 10 km)
  • Eevee → Sylveon: Earn seven hearts with Eevee as your buddy (down from 70)
  • Floette → Florges: Earn seven hearts with Floette as your buddy (down from 20)
  • Pawmo → Pawmot: Explore 1 km with Pawmo as your buddy (down from 25 km)
