In case you didn’t know, faux freckles are everywhere these days. There was a time where covering freckles was almost a guaranteed part of doing makeup since foundation or concealer would typically cover them up. As someone with natural freckles, I typically would stay away from those high-coverage options in order to let them show through.

Now though, we have freckle pens to add and enhance them. They’re incredibly easy to use, and the majority of them are relatively affordable. Still, it’s safe to say that some are more worthy of your hard-earned dollars than others, especially since you don’t want fake freckles that smudge or disappear after a few hours.
