I live in Northern Michigan, where winters are intense. (Other Midwesterners and Northeasterners can relate.) Over the course of this one, we received roughly 12 feet of snow. So, as you can imagine, I’m excited—no, giddy—when I sense the first signs of spring. The warm breeze? Birdsong? *Actual* sunlight? It feels like a prize for putting up with so many dark, blustery days.
That’s why, each year, I set aside time to complete a full spring reset. It’s my chance to refresh both my space and my routines. Plus, I love embracing the energy of a new season. No category is ignored; I invest in beauty, fashion, home, and wellness products—basically whatever my budget allows. This year, I took two weeks to plan it to ensure my purchases were intentional. And now, I’m sharing them with you. Ahead, see my (very personal) ultimate spring reset guide.
Shark Beauty
Cryoglow Cooling + LED Face Mask
I’m starting off strong with one of the more expensive beauty devices I own: Shark Beauty’s Cryglow Cooling + LED Face Mask. Yes, it’s pricey, but most LED face masks are, and in my opinion, it’s well worth the money.
It features dermatologist-optimized red, blue, and deep-infrared light treatments to target everything from aging to acne. (The tri-wick LEDs interlock for complete facial coverage.) Then, there’s the cryo factor. It uses InstaChill Technology to cool, de-puff, and visibly tighten the under-eye area with three temperature levels.
It’s also easy to use and comfortable to wear. I love knowing I have access to a high-tech skin treatment whenever I want. I just know it’s going to become a staple in my skincare-wellness routine—not just in spring, but from here on out.
D.S. & Durga
Cowgirl Grass Eau De Parfum
I recently discovered this scent when I was in the thick of testing and researching the best peony perfumes. I’ve been obsessed ever since. There’s a romantic, airy peony note (of course), as well as juicy lychee, flowering plains grass, and rich musk. It was formulated to be an ode to the Wild West, and as such, it feels bright and breezy, while still somehow maintaining an air of elegance. It feels so fresh for spring, and I can’t stop wearing it.
Loving Tan
10 Min Express Self-Tanning Smoothing Body Mask
After a long winter, my skin looks and feels lackluster. Obviously, self-tanner is an option, but most self-tanners work best when you soak in them overnight. That’s a tough sell for me, because A) my bedsheets are white and I don’t particularly want to run the risk of staining them, B) I hate having to shower again as soon as I wake up to wash off the bronzer, and C) I hate skipping lotion to apply it in the first place.
This is the answer to all of my self-tan woes. It’s a 10-minute(!) treatment. Apply it on clean, bare skin as you would with any other formula, let it sit for just 10 minutes, and rinse. The color will continue to develop over 24 hours and it will last five to seven days. It’s literally my dream self-tanner.
Threshold
Round Faux Horn Wall Mirror
This mirror is so cool. I can’t wait to hang it above my perfume-littered vanity.
West Elm
Kanto Stoneware Mug Sets
If you know me, you know I love coffee and probably drink too much of it. These Stoneware Mugs will be a chic addition to my morning espresso-making routine.
I’ve gone through so many cheap yoga and exercise mats in my life, and it’s time I invest in a high-quality one that will *actually* last. ALO Yoga’s Warrior Mat is my pick. It has a cushiony, no-slip texture, and it’s made from nontoxic materials. Once I get my hands on this, I won’t have a good excuse to skip my at-home Pilates practice.
Speaking of at-home fitness, I just repurchased my trusty Bala Bangles after my mom “borrowed” my original set. These wrist and ankle weights come in two versions (one and two pounds). They’re comfortable to wear, highly effective at making my muscles burn, and are available in a wide range of colors. I’m vibing with this shade, Sage.
HERBIVORE
Nova Turmeric and Pineapple Glow Brightening Body Oil
I love vitamin C body products, and this body oil is one of my favorite ones. It uses vitamin C–rich turmeric and pineapple to moisturize, protect, brighten, and smooth the skin. It’s the perfect product to add to my bodycare routine before the temperature rises and I start showing a bit more skin than I have in recent months.
Brooklinen
Super-Plush Turkish Cotton Bath Sheets
A fluffy, plush bath towel is the key to making any shower feel spa-like. (It’s the little things!) Instead of purchasing any old bath towel, though, I’m planning on investing in Brooklinen’s Bath Sheets. These are much bigger than regular towels, so they feel so much more cozy and luxurious. And they’re made from 100% Aegean Turkish Cotton, feature a zero twist construction for softness and lasting quality, and boast quicker dry time and improved absorbency. I love the Striped Persimmon colorway for spring.
My sister gifted me this gratitude journal for the holidays, and I’ve been using it every day since. It takes me two minutes to fill out in the morning and at night. (In the a.m., you list three things you’re looking forward to, and in the p.m., you list three things you’re grateful for.) It’s a small yet surprisingly impactful ritual. It’s like it’s training my brain to seek out and catalogue small, positive moments. Plus, it bookends my day with a small moment of calm. I’m almost finished with mine, which means it’s time to repurchase it, and I will (happily!).
Jo Malone London
3-Pc. Travel Candle Gift Set
I always love Jo Malone’s iconic English scents, but I tend to fixate on them in spring. I can’t help it—no one does fresh, breezy scents quite like Jo Malone! While I have multiple full-size fragrances from the brand, I felt like elevating my home with this candle set. It includes three travel-sized candles: Lime Basil & Mandarin, English Pear & Freesia, and Peony & Blush Suede. I put the first on my coffee table, the second in my bathroom, and the third on my vanity.
Alo Yoga
Magnesium Reset Spray
I want to improve my sleep hygiene this spring, so I’m stocking myself up with soothing essentials. Good books to keep my away from screens! Herbal tea! A sound machine! And this Magnesium Reset Spray. It contains the top-billed ingredient, as well as valerian and arnica to support muscle recovery and encourage a state of calm. All I have to do is simply spray it on my skin and let it absorb. I swear it’s helped me achieve deeper, more restful sleep.
