Selena Gomez Means Business in a Modern Power Suit

The hustle continues for Selena Gomez! Not even a month after Emilia Pérez’s awards campaign wrapped up, the star is already back at work to promote her latest album, I Said I Love You First, a joint venture with her fiancé, Benny Blanco.

Today, Gomez stopped by The Drew Barrymore Show in New York City dressed for business—albeit pop star business. She wore a charcoal gray pinstripe suit, made up of a cropped blazer with exaggerated shoulder pads and three-quarter sleeves with matching high-waisted trousers.

While a midriff-baring jacket won’t fly in most offices, Gomez’s accessories are more than welcome in the workplace: a pair of oversized gold earrings, a black leather belt with gold hardware, and black pointy-toe pumps. Also, standing in for a briefcase, Gomez carried a black East-West OSOI bag.

With her exaggerated proportions and trendy bag silhouette, Selena Gomez is modeling 2025’s answer to the 1980s power suit.
