A wide variety of figures are up for preorder right now, ranging from standard 1/144 Gundam model kits to full-blown spirit figures of these new mechs. There are also various figures and statues for some of the main characters in Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX, like Amate Yuzuriha and Nyaan. Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX is the latest Gundam anime series, but this one is special for a variety of reasons. As aforementioned, this is a collaboration between Sunrise, now Bandai Namco Filmworks Inc., and Studio Khara, the animation studio founded by Neon Genesis Evangelion creator Hideki Anno. Kazuya Tsurumaki, who served as one of the directors for the Rebuild of Evangelion, is set to serve as the director for Mobile Suit Gundam: GQuuuuuuX, while the legendary Hideki Anno will supervise scripts for the series.

Amate Yuzuriha is a high-school student living peacefully in a space colony floating in outer space. When she meets a war refugee named Nyaan, Amate is drawn into the illegal mobile suit dueling sport known as Clan Battle.
