Now that summer is officially around the corner, the sartorial shift usually means one can start storing your heavy winter layers for good. Goodbye, coats, and boots—hello, summer dresses and sandals! But Miley Cyrus has a different approach to spring style all together—as in, she has decided she is going anti-spring this year. The superstar was spotted out in Paris this weekend wearing some body-enveloping leather looks that are clinging onto the last days of fall-winter dressing.

Cyrus has been in the City of Light for some secret work projects. (Among other things, she was spotted filming a Maybelline commercial last week). While her looks on the streets have been for various shoots, they are still 100 per cent her vibe. This morning (April 27), for one, she stepped out wearing a leather Bottega Veneta look that reflected her love of a good power suit: Cyrus wore a boxy oxblood biker jacket with a matching red leather skirt. Punctuating the look was a pair of olive-colored leather gloves—not exactly the type of accessory you’d expect to see worn in late April. While it was more reflective of the winter season the rest of us are just about ready to bid farewell to, it was chic nonetheless.
