Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom Are Married! Inside Their Laid-Back Beach Wedding in Mexico

It was there that Victoria drilled down on Nicole’s wedding dress options, wanting to know all the details—and then at one point she just offered to design it for Nicole. “I showed her a few of my options and she suddenly, and hilariously, started describing what she envisioned for my gown—something more ethereal, flowy, and light for the sand, with tulle and soft flowers—it sounded like a dream.”

“We weren’t quite sure if she was serious or not,” Justin admits. “But she absolutely was. A few weeks later, Nicole was in London for fittings.”

“I have always adored Victoria’s style and her vision was exactly what I was hoping for so when she so generously offered to make my dress, I was so grateful and overjoyed,” Nicole says. “The dress was perfect—elegant and timeless while also youthful and just a little sexy.” Nicole completed her look with custom Manolo Blahnik sandals made to match her ivory Victoria Beckham dress.

Justin always knew he would wear Ralph Lauren for his big day. “I wanted to wear exactly the look that Ralph wears,” the actor explains. “His signature cream jacket, single button, white shirt, black bow tie, and black tuxedo pants. It was impeccable, but also infuriating because he wears that look better than anyone else can, certainly better than I do. I was very close to stripping my hair to silver in an effort to look as foxy as him. But there can be only one Ralph.” For the other evening’s events, Justin wore a combination of Saint Laurent and Thom Browne suits. “Thom Browne is just incredible,” he says. “And they’re the only suits that I can rock with a combat boot. Yes, I am the person that wears suits and boots to the beach.”

Meanwhile, Nicole’s bridesmaids strapless dresses from one of her favorite brands, Anna Quan. “They all rocked bare feet down our sandy aisle,” she says. And Justin explains that the groomsmen were supposed to all wear black suits, white shirts, and black ties. “Let’s face it, groomsmen should look like the poster for Reservoir Dogs,” he laughs. “That’s the mood board. That one picture. Jimmy Kimmel, however, claimed not to get the memo—he absolutely did—and showed up wearing some weird black and blue seersucker. So he was relegated to the back row for a lot of the pictures. It’s absurd because he’s on TV every night wearing exactly what I wanted him to wear.”
