27 Thoughts I Had While Watching the First Trailer for ‘And Just Like That…’ Season 3

It’s been far too long since And Just Like That… graced our television screens each week, forcing me to text everyone in my life about Carrie Bradshaw’s life choices like it was 2004. But luckily, Season 3 is headed our way very soon. On Tuesday, we were blessed with a brand-new trailer, (vaguely) letting us know which plotlines will be dominating our group chats this summer. (For that matter, can someone in one of my group chats give me their Max password? Is that so much to ask?)

Take in the trailer for yourself below, then feel free to pore over truly every thought I had while watching it:

  1. What is this little documentary-style format they’re starting the trailer with?
  2. I don’t hate it!
  3. Aww, there are my girlinas.
  4. Miranda’s hair absolutely slaying.
  5. If Carrie’s in a high-heeled shoe that power-clashes with her floaty caftan dress, then we are so back.
  6. Ah, summer in New York City. They’re almost making me miss the garbage smell!
  7. Oh, God, is this show trying to bring back the wide belt that looks like lumbar support?
  8. I already went through this in 2008! And it constricted my inner organs back then!
  9. Oh, I can tell Miranda’s at a lesbian bar.
  10. And waving to someone hot, no less!
  11. I’m so pissed off about how nice Carrie’s little garden writing spot is.
  12. Oop, spoke too soon, she’s got rats.
  13. Time for a vintage summer-in-NYC story from the Emma files: I once took a girl on a date to a Prospect Heights bar that will remain unnamed, found us an outside table, went inside to order drinks, came back, and noticed an absolute parade of rats encircling us on either side.
  14. On that note, ask me about the time I brought a different date to a now-closed bar in Fort Greene that was completely empty save for one very large cockroach on the floor.
  15. Like, there wasn’t even a bartender in there.
  16. Just cockroach.
  17. Rat czar, where art thou?
  18. Oh shit, Carrie’s writing fiction?
  19. Should I finish my novel?
  20. Aww, just a blank postcard from Aidan?
  21. I guess that’s what Carrie deserves for the original sin of cheating on him on the original show.
  22. Lily making out with a male ballet dancer post-performance? What a chic New York girl she is.
  23. Okay, Carrie’s chilling with Aidan and his kids, so presumably he’s back to some extent.
  24. Oooooh, Miranda’s lounging in bed with a girl! Post-sex, presumably!
  25. Bridal show?
  26. I’m decidedly not an Aidan girl, but he really is aging well.
  27. Oh, Max, you cruel mistress, why are you making me wait until end of May for the return of this deranged and addictive show?
