So called leakers have to prove themselves before folks start taking them seriously, but a YouTube user by the name of ‘malo392’ is causing quite a stir in the community.
As reported by VGC, malo392 correctly predicted the existence of both Nintendo Directs this week in a YouTube comment, a full three days before the official announcement was made.
“I loved both very much. Next week double appointment for Nintendo/Zelda fans.”
They also correctly predicted Star Fox for Switch 2 along with the Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake and Nintendo Switch Sports Resort. Another YouTube comment was posted before NateTheHate, another known leaker, made similar claims.
So, given that these posts appear to be frighteningly accurate, Centro Leaks has compiled more claims made by the malo392.
In addition to the aforementioned games, the user has claimed that a new Super Smash Bros. title is in development, though it’s not a port of Smash Bros. Ultimate. They’ve also stated that a new Nintendogs game is in development alongside a new 3D Mario, a pixel art remake of Super Metroid, a new Star Fox adventure game, and a new Wario Land.
If that’s not enough, it’s also said that Mario Kart World DLC is indeed in the works and will feature Fox McCloud. Makes sense, we guess.
Crucially, all of this is said to be launching in 2027 which, along with Pokémon Winds & Waves, would make for a truly blockbuster year for Nintendo.
As ever, take all of this with a grain of salt. Despite providing claims that have since been proven to be accurate, it’s still possible that these new ones could be inaccurate. We’ll just have to wait and see. Nintendo is hosting two Directs this week: a Zelda-themed showcase tomorrow and a general Direct on Wednesday.
