Why Paramount doesn’t want Warner Bros.’s Discovery assets


Netflix (NFLX) announced it has reached a deal to buy Warner Bros. (WBD).

Citi media and entertainment senior analyst, Jason Bazinet, joins Morning Brief host Julie Hyman to discuss the deal and explain why the Discovery assets of Warner Bros. are not of interest to Paramount Skydance (PSKY), which was also in the running to acquire the legacy media company.
