Karmine Corp, the French Esports team who’s reached the semifinals in the last two Rocket League World Championships, stood atop the podium as champions of the 2026 RLCS Paris Major after defeating Saudi Arabian team Twisted Minds.
In front of an enthusiastic hometown crowd, the Karmine Corp roster consisting of Atow, Juicy, and Vatira emerged victorious 4 games to 2. They endured a tournament that began with 16 different teams vying for the trophy.
“The whole game we dominated, and I think we could have scored earlier,” says Karmine Corp’s Juicy. “But, in the end, it was just a relief. We were meant to win.”
Karmine Corp quickly went up 2-0 in the final before dropping a game to Twisted Minds. The decisive final game went into overtime before Atow scored the tournament-winning goal.
Earlier in the day, the crowd packed into La Défense arena in Paris erupted when Rocket League was revealed to be coming to the newly-announced Unreal Engine 6. A short teaser showed a glimpse at more detailed environments for the game, an enhanced options selector, and more.
Juicy says the pending updates make him even more excited about the future of Rocket League.
“]I think it] will be a good thing,” Juicy says. “[I’m excited to see] what can be made. Unreal Engine 6 is going to bring so much to the game.”
For winning the tournament, Karmine Corp took home the lion’s share of a more than $350 thousand prize pot. Vatira was named MVP.
The Rocket League Championship Series World Championship is coming up September 15-20 from Fort Worth, Texas.
