DRC: Gédéon Kalulu back in training

Good news for the Leopards of the DRC. After several weeks out, Gédéon Kalulu has officially resumed indoor training. This is a crucial step in his rehabilitation, bringing the Congolese full-back one step closer to a return to action.

Gédéon Kalulu is set to be back on the pitch soon. Sidelined with a knee injury since early February, he made his return to individual training this Tuesday. Getting back to work indoors is an encouraging sign. While his participation in the intercontinental play-off on March 31 seems unlikely, Kalulu still has his sights set on making his debut World Cup appearance with the Leopards. With his comeback, the Congolese squad’s injury list is finally starting to clear up.
