We’re not done yet. This afternoon, at the very agreeable time of 3pm UK, Nintendo will broadcast a Direct showcase showing us what it’s got for Switch and Switch 2 in the weeks and months ahead. And we’ll be covering all of the news and announcements live, as they happen, right here in this article.

Nintendo has said the Direct will last approximately 50 minutes and that there’ll be a 95-minute Treehouse presentation immediately after it, featuring gameplay from some of the announced games. But what is Nintendo going to announce?

There’s no official guidance here, just speculation, and speculation has been particularly strong around a remake of one of the most treasured Zelda adventures, Ocarina of Time. Will we see that? We’ve also been awaiting a release date for the new Fire Emblem game, Fortune’s Weave – supposedly due this year – so I expect we might finally get that.

I hope we see more of FromSoftware’s Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods as well. After all, it’s due this year so now would be a good time to date and detail it. And what else? A glimpse at the new Legend of Zelda movie, perhaps? A few surprises? Join us at 3pm as we find out.
